WHATS FOLK TALES TREND??
It’s a trend based on our favourite fairytales. This trend been called “delicated” or “soft” cause the materials are steamy, slender and delicate; and usually the colours are soft and lights. The best example of that nowadays is Elsa from Frozen movie.
This past fall, some designers as McQueen or Valentino, introduced this trend; but this spring-summer has reinvented itself inspired by sea motif and delicate fabrics such as organza, jacquard, tulle or satin, mixed with embroidery, metallic and transparency.
Valentino, one of the pioneers of this trend, introduce the new mermaid. The catwalk became into an “under the sea” and enjoy of those acuatic creatures.

Givenchy decided to give a touch only of warrior princess, as it could be the actual princess
McQueen, the other pioneer of this trend, choosed strength, domination, sensuality and fetishism: the masked women: Japanese prints, asian inspiration.
And, Christian Siriano used the opposite of the previous designer. Feminine, girly and as usually, dramátic.
