Past Sunday, Olivier Rousteing, took the red carpet at the Billboard Music Awards together with his friends Kendall Jenner and Jourdan Dunn. They were all dressed in Balmain x H&M and revealing the first pieces of the collection.
The French brand has been chosen by H&M to take over in its successful line of collaborations with fashion designers. And there is a lot more, we have the final date! It will be November 5 again. Rousteing, announced the collaboration in Instagram with a instagram update featuring Balmain and H&M logo in a black and gold motif video.
“I want to talk to my generation: this is my main aim as a designer. H&M allows me the unique possibility of bringing everyone into the world of Balmain get a piece of the dream and create a global #HMBalmaination: a movement of togetherness, fuelled on a hashtag. The collaboration felt extremely natural to me: H&M is a brand that everybody connects to. It calls for unity, and I am all for it”, says Olivier Rousteing.
The colection will have 4 main branches, woman, man, shoes and accessories. Can’t wait to see the first designs. For now we have no more details, but remember that I’ll report on progress and the first designs that come to light. Aim date, November 5 at H & M stores and online.
