Joan Jett became a founding member of The Runaways, from the moment they belted out Ch Ch Ch Cherry Bomb, a whole new generation of teenage girls were inspired and empowered by the heavy hitting guitar lines, tough attitude, and sneer of Joan Jett.
After a while at solo career, Jett founded Joan Jett and the Blackhearts where they recorded a new album entitled Bad Reputation, with the famous sound “I love Rock’n’Roll” in it.

She was the front woman of alternative rock band Hole, which she formed in 1989.
