Rihanna named Creative Director of Puma

Collaborations between high-street brands and higher-end designers are no longer a new retail concept but we are so delighted with the next new! Because everything she gets closer became GOLD. (You already know about her several collaborations with River Island…)

RiRi has been named creative director of Puma, in charge direction of the womenswear line; she will join famous Usain Bolt and Mario Balotelli as a brand ambassador.
Puma sad Rihanna will work to design and customize classic Puma styles, create new styles and be the global ambassador, appearing in promotional content for new lines.
She announced the news on her Instagram, writing: “Hello #PUMA” and posting pictures of herself in an all-white outfit including the brand’s signature and famous white trainers.

“There are rules, but rules are meant to be broken.”- Rihanna

Puma said about Rihanna “Her global profile, her charisma and individuality, her ambition – all these things make her a perfect ambassador for our brand. With a strong portfolio in football, running and motorsport, finding an inspiring partner for women’s training was very important. Rihanna was a natural choice for us. We’re delighted to have her as a partner, and we’re looking forward to what’s to come.”

Since Rihanna won the CFDA Fashion Icon she is doing so well in Fashion. Her trophy was presented by Anna Wintour, who said that with Rihanna, “the point is to be audacious; even jaw-dropping or button-pushing.”

Just to point how huge is Rihanna influence in Fashion Industry, Puma gave to Rihanna $1 Million to prevent her from wearing rival brands. Can’t wait to see what you got for us RiRi! But we are sure it will be more than unexpected and amazing!
