Spring 2015 couture had something mystical, fantastic…Zuhair Murad’s Spring Couture collection was an evocation of water, Valentino took inspiration from Shakespeare, and there it was Elie Saab with his taste for sequins and crystals. If there’s something about Paris Fashion Week we can’t miss is this dates, after all we always take inspiration from the biggest (unconsciously) and they are the biggest because their history and knowledge.
Just look at Viktor & Rolf, they worked with Vlisco, a Dutch company since 1846 spealized in wax-dyed and block printed textiles popular in West and Central Africa.
Or Donatella’s vision of the women who should ”go back to the shape of a woman’s body, which is curvy”. Without further ado, I leave you with what for me the best pictures of Spring 2015 couture.
