TOP 5 PARIS FASHION WEEK. AW15
TOP 5 PARIS FASHION WEEK. AW15

Paris Fashion Week is always the final destination of Fashion Month. Soon we are updating a special show about Hermes new designer, but now we leave you with the very best. Op art, clasique, street, no matter what they set the trends on the catwalks to be dressed out here, are you ready?

CHANEL

Karl Lagerfeld showcased his collection at Brasserie Gabrielle, where a continental breakfast was served in traditional bistro style.
Models where styled with freshest shoes and Bardot cat-eye makeup and headbands. Reminds me of 60s era but, more French right?

We saw a lot of tweed and day suits, silhouettes were relaxed without any doubt an ode to Coco Chanel personal French Style.

VALENTINO

Everything started with bohemian crocheted coats and floral print dresses. I love the new Valentino era, is fresh, chic and retro.
Also all this effortless chic looks styled with skirt and darker palettes.
The collection was very detailed and eclectic, just the way it has to be.

SAINT LAURENT

Hedi Slimane collection screams “I LOVE ROCK N ROLL”!!!
I can’t be more in love with Saint Laurent, the collection called “Pretty Boy.” Was inspired in punk era.
What a dynamic collection! Loving the polka-dotted dresses, all the tulle and all the animal print. I really like Hedi Slimane taste for fabrics, it’s rich and fresh same time… I guess it’s time to party girls!

KENZO.

Kenzo is always a huuuge inspiration for me every season. Is the perfect fusion between street, trends and luxe.
This season they bring a new concept based on proportions, we saw a lot of ponchos and coats, everything oversized. And of course their “Kenzo signature” A few pop-y prints, florals and color-blocking pieces screaming SPORT-LUXE. The end of the show was cleaner and more fluid with softer fabrics and color palettes, nomadic inspired.

Our Highlight?

Shearling-lined leather motorcycle jackets

BALMAIN.

Rousteing mentioned YSL’s muse, Loulou de la Falaise as inspiration for aw15.
The collection was based at Paris in the 70s, was full of color from blue, yellow, pink orange in juxtaposition with black and gold, color blocked and pleated. Dresses where stunning!

Our highlights?
A minidress in color-blocked beaded fringe.
