Denim goes high fashion! Yes you might think denim is always in our wardrobe. But SS15 will be different because designers were determinate to give denim a 180-degree spin creating a new trend called #LuxeDenim.
Designers like Stella McCartney or Kenzo give denim a new-and-completely-renovated look and by designing statement pieces with clear retro vibes touches. The mixing with clothing was extraordinary.
I really loved Burberry proposals since were fresh and rich detailed. And Italian houses Prada or Bottega Veneta showcased darker denim. One of my favorite proposals was the patchwork outfits showcased by Tommy Hilfiger. And we can’t forget Rag & Bone and Maison Martin Margiela.
How to wear Luxe Denim.
-Luxe Denim was made for wear HEAD-TO-TOE denim outfit.
-Effortless its the key.
-Details are important; denim is embellished, distressed, washed out, molded and turned into ladylike silhouettes.
-Wear it two-toned. Blue shades don’t have to match necessary in fact it looks funnier if you mix lighter shades with darker.
-Lighter shades of denim draw attention to the body areas they cover, while darker washes create a slimming effect.
